OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2011. An investment forum on development of enterprises and local governments Investment Possibilities in Latvia and the Baltic States"", an exhibition "Invest Expo 2011", and a trade and investment mission "China Business Days 2011" will be taking place, with the support of TKB, at the International Exhibition Centre in Kipsala, Riga (Latvia) May 6 and 7, 2011.

The conference "Investment Possibilities in Latvia and the Baltic States" will focus on how to develop export and competition capabilities in business, look at the mechanisms for attracting investments, tax environment issues, availability of funding from the European Investment Fund and of financial instruments offered by the bank, as well as provide case-specific solutions and showcase examples of successful attraction of funding. The list of officials announced as participants of the conference include Mr Artis Kampars, Minister of Economics of Latvia, Mr Nils Usakovs, Chairman of the Riga City Council, Mr Ervins Butkevics, Commercial Director of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr Gundars Grieze, Chairman of the Board of Trasta Komercbanka, and others.

TKB will organise a workshop "Financial Solution for Export Development – International Factoring", which will take place in Conference Hall No. 1 from 12:00 to 15:00 on Saturday, May 7. Here you will be able to learn how to increase current assets without collateral and how to protect your business against risks involved in export operations, as well as participate in panel discussions in search for answers to topical questions important to your company. In addition to this we shall be looking forward to your coming over to the banks stand at the exhibition for a conversation. 

A trade and investment mission "China Business Days 2011" will take place for the first time in Latvia concurrently with these events, featuring Chinese companies looking for co-operation partners, business representatives, and industrial buyers, as well as representing offices of co-ordinating state organisations of China.
