OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2011. CROC received the Cisco Enterprise Partner of the Year award for its achievements in Russia in 2010 at the Cisco Partner Summit 2011 held in New Orleans (Louisiana, USA).

“Being recognized as the best by the leading telecom manufacturer is a matter of principle for us. Last year, CROC implemented projects for more than 200 Russian companies, including Sberbank of Russia, VTB Capital, VimpelCom, Rosatom, X5 Retail Group and many others,” said Natalia Dyakonova, Director, Telecommunications Department, CROC. “Today’s market requires unified data center infrastructure and a unified computing environment—areas where we have strong expertise. Furthermore, the new Cisco Data Center Unified Computing authorization that we recently received opens up new opportunities for utilizing Cisco’s innovative approaches to data center architecture.”

Banks and insurance companies, followed by the government, retail, and energy sectors were among CROC’s leading Cisco technology customers last year, with projects including: telecom network upgrade and traffic optimization system implementation within Raiffeisenbank and a wide area network upgrade within M. Video. As a result, these two companies each recorded savings of 25% or more on their telecom bills. Furthermore, CROC implemented an IP telephony system for Inchcape Russia dealing centers and a major machine building plant.

“CROC is one of Cisco’s key Russian partners and it improves its technological competence every year in line with the latest market trends. CROC has highly professional expertise in providing solutions for enterprise customers in various business sectors. In recognition of CROC’s achievements in 2010, Cisco gave it an Enterprise Partner of the Year Award,” said Stanislav Zorikov, Head of the Systems Integrator Department, LLC  Cisco Systems. “Another task we perform together is searching for the most effective way to finance our joint projects. As a result, companies reduce their capital equipment costs and can access inexpensive resources from abroad while enjoying tax breaks. And it really works: last year, total Cisco platform project financing increased by 60%.”

CROC has been recognized as a Cisco Gold Partner nine times during our 15-year cooperation and we have six technology specializations: Advanced Security, Advanced Unified Communications, Advanced Data Center Storage Networking, Advanced Wireless LAN, Advanced Routing & Switching, and Advanced Data Center Networking Infrastructure. In addition, CROC also has authorizations in ATP - Cisco TelePresence, ATP - Unified Contact Center Enterprise, ATP - Data Center Unified Computing, ATP - Video Surveillance, and ATP - WiMAX. One of the most challenging specializations to achieve, Master UC, required advanced training on Cisco Unified Communications and solution integration with other vendors.
