OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2011. The 4th international exhibition “Integrated Safety and Security” (ISSE 2011) will take place at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre in Moscow, Russia, on 17-20 May, 2011.

The Rosoboronexport Corporation pays great attention to issues relating to integrated security. This is factored by an expanding range of special-purpose weapons and equipment in which domestic and foreign customers are showing interest. In the last two years the Enterprise has increased its sales of special weapons and equipment by nearly 40 percent in value and one sees the demand for them steadily rising.

As a regular participant in the ISSE exhibitions, Rosoboronexport will exhibit the most advanced military and dual-purpose products including new samples of special-purpose weapons and equipment.

Rosoboronexport will show advertising materials and mock-ups promoting the Tigr and KamAZ-43269 armoured cars intended for special-operations units and BTR-80A armoured personnel carrier. These vehicles are well known worldwide for high level of protection, mobility and operational simplicity, and always attract attention of potential foreign customers.

Specialists will also be able to familiarise themselves with a wide range of helicopter systems. Among the most interesting export items one can point at the Mi-171E multi-purpose transport helicopter and its passenger version - Mi-171E Salon, as well as Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter designed for varied combat and special-purpose applications. The Mi-171Sh helicopter has unique performance characteristics and can be easily converted during the pre-flight preparation in field into a passenger, cargo, search-and-rescue, medical-evacuation or fire-fighting variant, depending on mission assigned.

Visitors to the stand will be attracted by the legendary Kalashnikov assault rifles of the new "hundredth" series (AK-101, AK-102, AK-103, AK-104) as well as SR-2 and PP-2000 submachine guns intended for personnel of special-operations units. Close combat weapons are represented by the AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher system.

Taking account of the growing global demand for advanced and effective natural disaster/technogenic accident warning and relief systems as well as anti-terrorist weapons and equipment, Rosoboronexport tries to satisfy diverse requests of foreign customers and meet requirements for special-purpose technical facilities including joint projects for their development, production and promotion to the world market.

At the Rosoboronexport stand potential customers will get professional consultations on all exhibits, and take part in discussions with representatives of Russian companies which have developed and produced these items.
