OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2011. Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, is set to deploy its long haul Boeing 777-300ER aircraft into service on the Mumbai – Hong Kong/Newark sectors. The widebody Boeing 777-300ER, with its three class configuration, including the airline’s world renowned First Class service, will significantly enrich the inflight experience of Jet Airways’ guests. The airline currently operates Airbus 330-200 aircraft on these sectors.

Jet Airways’ guests to Hong Kong and Newark may now enjoy luxury, privacy and comfort in the air with eight First Class suites. These first class suites possess the world’s longest airline beds, private closets, dining tables for two and 23” flat screens. Guests will also be able to experience the airlines truly world class, warm and personalized service and class leading cuisine.

 The aircraft change on the Mumbai to Hong Kong daily service would be effective July 28, 2011. Flight 9W 76 will depart Mumbai at 0105 hrs and arrive Hong Kong at 0925 hrs local time. On the return leg, 9W 75 will depart at 1915 hrs local time and arrive Mumbai at 2300 hrs local time.

Effective September 23, 2011 Jet Airways will deploy a Boeing 777 -300 ER aircraft from Mumbai to Newark, via Brussels, twice a week (on Fridays & Sundays only).

 Jet Airways flight 9W 228 will depart Mumbai at 0220 hrs and arrive via Brussels at Newark at 1230 hrs local time. On the return leg, 9W 227 will depart Newark at 1840 hrs and arrive Mumbai at 2240 hrs local time.

 Jet Airways’ guests would also have the option of 30 seats in the airline’s Premiиre (Business Class) offering, which boasts the most comfortable Business Class seats in the sky that convert to 73" long totally flat beds. Even the leg-room in Economy onboard the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft is more generous than the normal. Guests in all three classes will have access to the state-of-the-art Panasonic eX2 entertainment system, complete with 200+ movies, games and endless music choices.
