ARMADA (MICEX, RTS: ARMD) hereby announces that it has signed an agreement with the unified national operator of electronic government infrastructure OAO Rostelecom, whereby ARMADA will be Rostelecom’s agent to roll out the e-government and provide for the transition to government and municipal electronic services in the regions.

The agreement concluded by ARMADA is intended to effectively achieve the goal of establishing an e-government in the Russian regions based on Rostelecom’s unified solution for the regional segment of the e-government’s infrastructure and ARMADA’s software.

ARMADA has experience in successful automation of services as well as launching and operating solutions to automate government activities in healthcare, public utilities, education, security and other areas in the regions. The company’s clients over the past several years have included federal and municipal government agencies of Moscow city, Saint-Petersburg, as well administrations of Vologda, Yaroslavl, Samara, Orel and other Russian regions. In 2011, ARMADA and Rostelecom intend to ensure transition to electronic services and launch automated solutions and services at government agencies in at least 10 Russian regions.
