OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2011. KITEL 2011, the 18th Central Asian International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition, will take place on 25-27 May in pavilion 10 of the Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty. The show is organised by Iteca.

The event will present 44 exhibiting companies from 8 countries, including: Belarus, China, France, Kazakhstan, Russia, South Korea, Turkey, and Ukraine. The exposition of National Company Kazakhtelecom will take a central place at the exhibition. A large part of the exhibition will be made up of companies from Russia (16% of the total number of exhibitors). Domestic companies will form the basis of the exhibition: 40% of exhibitors are from Kazakhstan.

The event is officially supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan, Kazakhtelecom, NWF Samruk-Kazyna, National Association of Radio and TV Broadcasters of Kazakhstan.

Commenting on the event, Askar Zhumagaliev, Minister of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan, said: “By satisfying the highest requirements of major domestic and foreign telecoms and IT companies, as well as manufacturers of software and equipment, KITEL could become one of the most anticipated events, carrying a spirit of development and innovation.”

In the 18-year history of the KITEL expo brand, this year will be a turning point. The organisers have carried out a rebranding, in order to strengthen the brand and increase the target audience.

“Along with the new positioning, a restyling of the visual attributes of the KITEL 2011 brand has taken place. The new logo - interlocking colored lines in the shape of a circle – is a modern, multi-faceted and effective logo, which clearly represents the sphere and innovation of computer and information technologies,” says Natalya Dmitriyeva, Manager of the KITEL exhibition of the Kazakhstan exhibition company Iteca.

This year, KITEL will feature the 1st i-MIX Kazakhstan Internet Conference. The event will take place on 26 May, the second day of the exhibition, at the Bakshasaray Reception House. The programme of i-MIX'11 includes eight thematic sections, which will be held in three parallel streams.

The i-MIX'11 conference is organised by Iteca and Award.kz, the national internet award, together with the Aidan web-studio, 4DClick full cycle internet agency and Direct PR agency, under the auspices of the Internet Association of Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that online business is evolving through advertising and company website promotion. That is why i-MIX combines three areas: the main programme of the Kazakhstan Internet Conference, professional programmes of Formula Site from 1C-Bitrix (Russia) and Web-Advert from 4DClick (Kazakhstan).

i-MIX conference invites to participate: web developers, advertisers, startups, internet specialists, and those who are actively use internet technologies for business and achieving their goals.
