OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2011. Today, the thousandth Mitsubishi Fuso Canter small-tonnage truck was produced in Naberezhnye Chelny, at FUSO KAMAZ Trucks Rus Ltd. Joint Venture established by OJSC KAMAZ and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation.

The ceremony devoted to this event and organized directly at the site of vehicle assembly was attended by First Vice-President of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) Kai-Uwe Seidenfuss and Production Director of MFTBC Yoshiro Motoyama, and also Director General of OJSC KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin and CEO of FUSO KAMAZ Trucks Rus Albert Yagudin.

In 2010, KAMAZ FUSO Trucks Rus not only increased the rate and volume of vehicle assembly, but also developed a dealer network, and improved the quality of after sales service. As a result, now the company has more than 50 dealerships in the largest Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar. FUSO KAMAZ Trucks Rus JV also opened an educational center to train sales managers and technical specialists of dealerships and organized fast delivery of spare parts to its customers.

The Mitsubishi Fuso assembly line was launched a year ago by the joint venture of OJSC KAMAZ and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC). It should be noted that the production of Mitsubishi Fuso Canter trucks in Russia is organized on the principle of large-unit assembly, like at the most enterprises of the industry.
