OREANDA-NEWS. May 26, 2011. NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) announced today the launch of shipments of its dual-screen Android(TM) based cloud communicator "LifeTouch W" (*1) for corporate customers in Japan on June 1.

LifeTouch W is the third installment of NEC's portable "LifeTouch" series to reach markets in Japan. This folding device features a pair of 7-inch liquid crystal displays and operates on the Android open platform. The LifeTouch W's dual screens provide a distinctive user experience that can be used to produce innovative new applications that contribute to a wide range of businesses.
