OREANDA-NEWS. June 8, 2011. There are only a few places left for WorldFood Kazakhstan 2011.

About 80% of the WorldFood Kazakhstan 2011 exhibition space has already been sold out. The 14th Central Asian International Food Industry Exhibition will take place at the Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty on 1-4 November. According to Tatiana Shaposhnikova, Project Manager, 186 stands with a total area of 4,300 square metres have been booked by now. “We were also very pleased to have received applications from 25% of this year’s first-timers,” added Ms. Shaposhnikova.

National exhibition stands will be presented by France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and the United Arab Emirates. Also, WorldFood Kazakhstan 2011 will be attended by the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) and KAZBALT Kazakhstan-Baltic Trade & Industry Association.

This annual forum is the largest one in the Central Asian countries and is renowned for the interesting events it features. This year, the exhibition will traditionally incorporate the Best Product of WorldFood Kazakhstan 2011 professional tasting of food and drinks, workshops, open master classes, and roundtables on burning issues facing the industry.

We recommend paying attention to the events to be held for the first time within the exhibition framework: Tea Ceremony Open Tasting Competition, Barista Show, and Barmen Show. The exhibition programme will be broken down by days. Companies will be given an opportunity to take part in the exhibition and in the open tasting. Like at HOREX Exhibition that has taken place this spring, right after the tasting, visitors will be able to assess the products offered by the exhibitors using special equipment with a sensor monitor and software that eliminates the possibility of voting fraud. When getting registered at the pavilion entrance, every visitor will be given a badge with a bar code to be used for voting at the tasting and other competitions.

The event organisers, Iteca Exhibition Company, continue to bring together at WorldFood Kazakhstan all major market players and focus on the most important and interesting things in the food industry. Please be reminded that the last year’s exposition featured 223 companies from 33 countries of the world with about 5,000 professional visitors attending the event during four exhibition days. Everyone was able to choose a section of interest, visit specialised workshops, or find new business partners.

PLEASE NOTE that an opportunity to visit WorldFood Kazakhstan 2011 and to attend the exhibition’s roundtable meetings, workshops and presentations for free will be offered to the visitors registered at HOREX 2011 Spring Exhibition provided that they have kept their badges with a bar code. If you have lost your badge, get registered at http://onsite.iteca.kz/ as “pre-registered” to have your E-Ticket for WorldFood Kazakhstan 2011 printed out. Please be reminded that the event will be held at the Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty on 1-4 November 2011. For more information please visit www.worldfood.kz.
