OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2011. Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC) will pay dividends for 2010 to National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC – the sole shareholder of KEGOC.

On 26 May 2011 the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna approved the annual financial statements of KEGOC for 2010. The statements had been earlier approved by the auditor – Deloitte LLP.

In accordance with the annual financial statements KEGOC`s consolidated assets as of 31 December 2010 amounted to KZT 180.36 billion, compared to KZT 176.46 billion as of 31 December 2009, the equity made KZT 113.41 billion. The service revenue reached KZT 44.408 billion, which is 36 per cent higher than in 2009. The net profit of the Company reached KZT 5.796 billion mainly because of growth of rendered services and lack of exchange losses.

In accordance with the net income allocation procedure 15 per cent or KZT 869 million will be allocated for dividend payment, 85 per cent or KZT 4.926 billion will remain at KEGOC's disposal.

The approved amount of dividend per one common share is KZT 82.61(eighty-two tenge and sixty-one tiyn).

KEGOC is the System Operator of the Unified Power System of Kazakhstan. 100 per cent of KEGOC's authorised capital belongs to Samruk-Kazyna.
