OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2011. Ukio bankas supplemented a list of financial instruments which are offered for trading using the electronic banking system Eta bankas: from now on Eta bankas clients can submit orders to buy or sell OMX Baltic Benchmark Fund shares.

An open The index OMX Baltic Benchmark GI comprises the shares of the most liquid Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian companies with the largest capitalisation, which are classified according to economic activity sectors. Composition of the index is updated every half a year in order to ensure that it should reflect the best investment strategy at the lowest costs of transactions.

One share of the OMX Baltic Benchmark Fund is a basket of shares composed of over 30 companies from different economic sectors. Thus, the client enjoys an investment with diversified risk without higher additional costs.

Over the year 2010 the OMX Baltic Benchmark Fund surged by 54.65 per cent.
