OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2011. In the course of the International Aerospace Salon in Le Bourget (France), State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and OJSC the United Aircraft Construction Corporation (OJSC UACC) entered into an Agreement on Financing the Export of Aircraft and Implementing Investment Projects in the Aircraft Construction Sector.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and on behalf of OJSC UACC – by President Mikhail Pogosyan.

The Agreement aims to establish partnership and promote long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation as part of Vnesheconombank’s participation in funding foreign trade contracts on supplying aircraft, structuring schemes of these contracts’ implementation, funding aircraft manufacturing and sales on the territory of the Russian Federation as well as on the territory of foreign states.

The Agreement also provides for Vnesheconombank’s participation in funding investment programs designed to build aircraft technical support centers to provide after sale technical maintenance of aircraft, arrange funding of batch production of civil, transport and military-transport aircraft to subsequently supply aircraft abroad and to the domestic market as well as arrange financing of advanced investment programs of OJSC UACC and its subsidiary companies.

Under the Agreement a model range of aircraft to be developed and batch produced includes Tu-204SM, Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100), An-148, MS-21.

The Agreement’s implementation is aimed at supporting industrial exports and services, among other things in order to diversify national exports and would make it possible to boost research and development.
