OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2011. Open-ended bond fund “Troika Dialog – Ilya Muromets” 1 led all Russian funds during May 2011 by total investments (data from RBC.Rating 2 ). Over the month of May, the fund raised R339.91 mln, or more than half of Russians’ overall bond fund investments during the month (R624.42 mln according to data from RBC.Rating). According to web portal Investfunds, Russian mutual funds of all types raised total investments of R1,042.04 mln during May.

According to Evgeny Korovin, Portfolio Manager at Troika Dialog Asset Management, "High volatility on financial markets caused investors to choose products with a less aggressive management strategy, especially bond funds.
