OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2011. Belarus has agreed with the EurAsEC Bailout Fund the annual size of its budget deficit, not more than 1.5% of GDP in 2011-2013, First Deputy Finance Minister Vladimir Amarin told reporters on Wednesday.

“The deficit has been agreed at or below 1.5% [of GDP],” he said.

Republican budget revenues are projected at 33.612 trillion Belarusian rubles, and expenditures at 39.945 trillion rubles. Budget deficit was originally expected at or below 6.333 trillion rubles, 3% of GDP, and the Finance Ministry will have to adjust the key budget indicators in June 2011 to bring the deficit down to 1.5% of GDP.
