OREANDA-NEWS. July 1, 2011. Following the results of operation in 2010 the Krasnoyarsk Administration awarded First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize diplomas of review competition “For Best Organization of Work in the Field of Social Partnership and Labour Protection” accordingly to Krasnoyarsk CHP-2, Krasnoyarsk CHP-1 and Krasnoyarsk CHP-3. Within the framework of review competition “For Best Conditions and Protection Labour with Nazarovo Organizations” Grade 1 diploma was awarded to the Nazarovo SDPP team. Abakan CHP branch received a diploma for “Best Labour Protection Office” from the Abakan Administration, having qualified second in the corresponding competition arranged among organizations of the city.

“Applicable to occupational health and safety at power industry enterprises, the requirements are the strictest possible. Provision for safe working conditions and protection of workers’ health are absolute priorities governing the activities of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” and all the Company branches,” states Deputy Chief Engineer of the Company Mikhail Zakrevsky.

Workers of the Company production branches are provided with workwear and personal protective equipment in full. Therapeutical prophylactic nourishment is provided for personnel employed under harmful and dangerous working conditions. Medical examinations of the workers are arranged regularly.

Occupational Health and Safety Days are organized at the power plants on a monthly basis. Within the framework of these events one undertakes regular reviews for compliance with occupational safety rules (in the course of performance of works), fire safety and production sanitary rules as well as for timeliness of briefings in labour protection and occupational safety issues and the enterprises personnel knowledge testing.

to allocate over 185 mln. RUR for occupational safety of the personnel

In 2010 power industry company JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” allocated over 148 mln. RUR to provide for safe working conditions of its power plants and heating network enterprises.

In Q1 of the current year one allocated approximately 22.8 RUR for these purposes. All in all, one plans to spend 185 mln. RUR on occupational health and safety events.

“The enterprise continuously increases the amount of expenditures on occupational safety,” says Deputy Chief Engineer of the Company Mikhail Zakrevsky. “Thus, in 2010 one spent over 148 mln. RUR which is 26,073 RUR per worker. In particular, only on procurement or personal protective equipment one spent 5044 RUR per worker, the sectorally average level of expenditures on the item concerned being 3000 RUR. For us safety of labour is a norm of life. This is constant everyday work,” asserts M. Zakrevsky.
