OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2011. Sky Link held its annual general shareholders meeting at which a new 5-member lineup of the company’s board of directors was elected.

The board of directors of Sky Link included the following Svyazinvest appointees:

Nadezhda E. German, head of the wireless communication department;

Bogdan I. Golubitsky, executive director and head of the department of economic planning and budgeting;

Valentina F. Vermyanina, executive director and head of the department of corporate management and legal support;

Natalia S. Vorobeva, head of the department of strategic planning;

Vadim V. Semenov, general director. 

Pursuant to a resolution passed at the meeting which was held on June 28, 2011, Vadim Semenov, general director of Svyazinvest, was re-elected as the chairman of the board of directors of Sky Link.  He has headed the board of directors of Sky Link since December 1, 2010.

Vadim Semenov was born in August 21, 1965 in Leningrad.  In 1987 he graduated from the A.A. Zhanov Leningrad State University with a major in Law.  From 1987 to 1999 he worked at various positions in state institutions and organizations, where he was in charge of legal issues. From 1999 to 2003 he provided legal support for a number of key transactions related to the consolidation of cellular communication companies.  From 2003 to 2009 he worked in management positions at MegaFon, including head of the operator’s legal department.  In 2009 he was appointed as advisor for corporate development to the general director of Rostelecom, and in August 2010 he was named vice president of legal issues and corporate development at Rostelecom.  In October 2010 he was appointed to the position of general director of Svyazinvest.  In December 2010 he was named chairman of the board of director of Sky Link.
