OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. AIKB Tatfondbank considered its performance in the first half of 2011. The Bank’s net profit totalled RUB 163.8 million having increased 3-fold compared to the similar period of the previous year (the profit gained in the first half of the last year was RUB 55.2 million), reported the press-centre of Tatfondbank.

The Bank’s net assets grew by 9.2% compared to the beginning of the year, having exceeded RUB 71 billion, and its lending portfolio increased by 8.2%, having exceeded RUB 44.4 billion, with retail lending portfolio having increased by 20.3% to exceed RUB 4.2 billion.

At 1 July 2011, retail deposits totalled RUB 22.7 billion, up 8% compared to the beginning of the year.

In the first half of the year, the Bank issued over 21 700 new cards. The total number of cards issued by Tatfondbank exceeded 347 000.

Over the first six months of the year, the Bank expanded its regional presence by opening its office in Bashkortostan. In addition to this, new offices were opened in Novosibirsk and Naberezhnye Chelny. At 1 July 2011, the Bank’s regional network consists of 94 offices in and outside of the Republic of Tatarstan.

‘A material growth of key figures became possible due to increased efficiency of business processes in the Bank. According to the Bank’s Development Strategy until 2013, we plan to increase significantly our assets and profit, first of all, through increased volumes of lending: 10-fold for retail customers, and 5-fold for small- and medium-sized businesses’, said Sergey Meshchanov, Deputy Chairman of Tatfondbank’s Board of Management.
