OREANDA-NEWS. July 25, 2011. The 16th Anhui TV Week was held in Warsaw, Poland's capital city in June, where five-episode documentary in Polish was broadcast featuring the province's development in recent years, and great acclaim was received.

Zang Shikai, director with publicity department of Anhui delivered a speech during the opening ceremony June.28. He wished that the conduct of such activity , which had been held for 15 times in past years in America, Oceania and Europe, would cement traditional friendship between the two countries, promote bilateral communications in trade and economy and contribute to all-side cooperations.

Sun Yuxi, China's ambassador in Poland, Polish government officials and guests from local business and press circle attended the ceremony.

It's the first time that a Chinese TV station has ever held such an event in Poland, which opened a window for Polish people to get a glimpse of China's Anhui Province, from thriving local enterprises, natural wonders to cultural heritages.

To cater for foreign audience, the TV program invited media from Poland to do interview in the province, an interactive way of communicating.

Vice president with National TV Station of Poland expressed his hope that such cultural communication would further strengthened exchanges between TV stations in both countries and bring more and more programs of high quality to each other.
