OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. TMM Company's brand was rated first among the most expensive construction brands in Ukraine according to the results of the "Guard of Brands" rating survey, a joint project of "Galytski Kontrakty" Publishing House and Ukrainian Rating Agency.

TMM's brand is rated 57th in the general rating of 200 most expensive Ukrainian corporate brands. According to the rating, the value of TMM's brand amounted to UAH 1,221.8 million, which is 1.67x higher than the result of 2009 valuation. The survey was not carried out in 2010.

In order to calculate the value of brands and determine their positions in the rating, factor and financial analysis of the companies' operations was carried out; it included assumptions of profitability of companies based on success and efficiency of the brand use as well as other factors like publicity, life cycle, brand strength, company and market growth forecasts. In 2011 the methodology of valuation was not changed significantly, which allows for direct comparison with the results of the preceding rating. Some indices underwent insignificant correction to reflect post-crisis trends.

The rating 'Guard of Brands' is a project of the Ukrainian Rating Agency and 'Galytski Kontrakty' Publishing House created in order to perform valuation of the brands existing in Ukraine and determine the most expensive and strong brands in different areas of the economy. In total, it includes 200 companies acting on 22 markets, i.e. 'Insurance Market', 'Stock Market', 'Construction and Construction Materials', 'Telecommunications' etc.
