OREANDA-NEWS. August 3, 2011. Parallel, one of the largest fuel operators in eastern Ukraine, paid UAH 69.8m to the state budget in 2010 (including VAT, profit tax, personal income tax and taxes to the Pension Fund), which is 27% more year on year.

Over the last few years the company has shown a stable development proved by high rates of taxes paid to the State treasury. In particular, in 2007 its tax payments went up 3.7 times – from UAH 19m in 2007 to UAH 69.8m in 2010.

Taxes were paid in line with requirements of Ukrainian legislation, on time and in full, to comply with the company's strict adherence to the economic laws.

"Paying taxes is a priority issue for our company. We are developing our business on principles of financial transparency and openness", emphasized the CFO of Parallel Svetlana Byshova. "We are glad that due to our intensive growth and continuous increase in taxes paid to budgets of all levels Parallel can actively enhance its contribution to development of our region and Ukraine as a whole", she added.

Since 2007 Parallel more than quadrupled its filling stations network, from 15 filling stations in late 2007 to 69 filling stations in late 2010, while its headcount grew 4.5 times to 1,600 employees.

The company is actively investing in creating comfortable working conditions for its employees and providing opportunities for their intensive professional growth. As reported earlier, in October 2010 the company opened Parallel career enhancement centre focused on training its employees.
