OREANDA-NEWS. August 4, 2011. R-Pharm visited Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) to discuss avenues of cooperation in specialized professional training area.

"We need a global partner in Russia, a partner able to train professionals for our enterprise, - Ivan Semenov, HR Director, R-Pharm, noted. – Presently in Russia a small number of skilled professionals are trained in the pharmaceutical field: under short-term training programs and in long-term education based on higher educational institutions. This is a radically new employment market and it’s difficult to recruit highly qualified personnel”.

According to the Head of University Peter Chubik, R-Pharm – this is a Russian company, which plans to seriously pursue the development of its own pharmaceutical base: "Our country for a long time did not produce high-tech medicines, buying all abroad? so the revival of pharmaceutical industry requires training of new human resources. TPU is interested in cooperation and can train professional staff in various directions: researchers and engineers for R&D centers, managers for pharmaceutical manufacturing sites".
