OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2011. The Tata Motors group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 85,392 vehicles in July 2011, lower by 6 per cent over July 2010. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 350,565 vehicles, higher by 4 per cent compared to the corresponding period in 2010-11.

Global sales of all commercial vehicles — Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range — were 47,238 vehicles in July 2011, a growth of 16 per cent. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 177,402 vehicles, a growth of 17 per cent.

Global sales of all passenger vehicles were at 38,154 vehicles, lower by 24 per cent. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 173,163 vehicles, lower by 7 per cent.

Global sales of Tata passenger vehicles and the distribution offtake in India of Fiat cars were at 19,035 vehicles for the month, lower by 38 per cent over July 2010. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are at 91,954 vehicles, lower by 16 per cent.

Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover were flat at 19,119 vehicles. Jaguar sales for the month were 4,372 vehicles, lower by 23 per cent, while Land Rover sales were 14,747 vehicles, higher by 8 per cent. Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal are 81,209 vehicles, higher by 6 per cent. Cumulative sales of Jaguar are 15,715 vehicles, lower by 26 per cent, while cumulative sales of Land Rover are 65,494 vehicles, higher by 18 per cent.
