OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2011.  A new program of regular flights of VIM-AVIA Airlines from Moscow (airport Domodedovo) to Basel (Switzerland) will start on October 1, 2011. The travel time from airport Basel to most popular ski resorts is less than from Geneva or Zurich thanks to a new tunnel between the cities Spiz and Visp. VIM-AVIA Airlines will be the only carrier with regular flights to this airport from Moscow.

The flights NN 867/868 will be carried out by aircrafts Boeing-757 — 200 with the set of 220 seats aboard each Saturday from October 1, 2011 till December 24, 2011 and then on each Saturday and Wednesday from December 28, 2011 till March 24, 2012.

Departure time from Moscow on October 1, 2011 is at 09:55, return flight from Basel is at 13:00 local time. On January 9, 2011 departure time from Moscow is at 14:00 and return flight from Basel is at 18:00 local time.
