OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2011.  The leading fashion retailer in Lithuania and Baltic States opens first Massimo  Dutti store in the Baltics. The new store covering 406 sq. m. will be located in the shopping and entertainment centre Akropolis in Vilnius. Investments to the store will exceed LTL 1 million (EUR 0.3 million). Massimo Dutti store in Akropolis is planned in respect to „boutique“ concept reflecting high-end and elegance feeling and offering warmer spaces and atmospheres.

Massimo Dutti is top quality and high-end Inditex brand dedicated to independent, urban and cosmopolitan consumer. Massimo Dutti, which has formed part of the Inditex Group since 1991, currently operates the chain of 543 stores in 51 countries. Net sales of Massimo Dutti in 2010 reached LTL 3.1 billion (EUR 0.9 billion).

 Massimo Dutti - the fifth concept of world‘s leading fashion retailer Inditex  developed by Apranga group. Both companies collaborate since 2004. Massimo  Dutti opening brings up to 33 the number of Inditex stores that are managed by
Apranga Group in the Baltic States: 10 ZARA, 8 Bershka, 8 Pull and Bear, 6 Stradivarius among them. In June 2011 there was agreed to prolong franchise agreements between Apranga Group and Inditex Group regarding Zara, Bershka,
Pull and Bear and Stradivarius brands development in the Baltic States till  2014.

 Apranga Group operates a chain of 118 stores: 76 in Lithuania, 31 in Latvia and
11 in Estonia.

Shares of Apranga are listed on Baltic equity list on NASDAQ OMX Vilnius Stock Exchange. Majority shareholder of Apranga Group is concern MG Baltic.
