OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2011. The Bank raised rates on fixed-term deposits, expanded the list of deposits’ currency and proposed new tenors of savings placement

From September 1, 2011 Piraeus Bank in Ukraine offers its clients new and improved conditions of savings placement: higher interest rates, expanded list of currencies, the new tenors of deposits and possibility of early withdrawal of savings. The bank offers the following deposit programs:

"STANDARD" deposit with payment of interests every month or at the end of the fixed term for a tenor of 1 to 12 months in the hryvna (up to 14.5% per annum), Euro (up to 6% per annum) or U.S. dollars (up to 8% per annum)
Deposit "TAKE IT HIGHER" with monthly growing rate and possibility of early withdrawal with preservation of accrued interest. Deposits can be placed for a tenor of 3 to 12 months. Thus, if a deposit is placed for 12 months the last month’s rate is 18% in UAH, 10% in U.S. dollars and in Euro 8%
Deposit 'INTEREST UPFRONT" with interest payment in advance in the day of the deposit agreement conclusion, for a tenor of 3 and 6 months in UAH, USD and Euro
"PENSION" deposit with interest rate that is 0.5% higher than interest rate for standard deposits and payment of interests every month or at the end of the deposit term, with tenor from 1 to 12 months in hryvna (up to 15% per annum), U.S. dollars (up to 8.5 % per annum) and Euro (up to 6.5% per annum).

"Piraeus Bank increased the interest rates on the whole deposit line for private clients, expanded the list of deposit currencies and extended the deposit tenors for deposit "Take it higher" and "Interest upfront", - Alexander Gnilenko, Piraeus bank in Ukraine retail business deputy director, said. - In addition to the attractive deposit rates, Piraeus Bank offers the opportunity to open a deposit in the name of a third person, as well as the possibility of VISA international payment card opening and withdrawing interests in ATMs."

One of the key benefits of the deposit placement in Piraeus Bank in Ukraine is the bank’s reliability. Starting from 2009, Piraeus Bank in Ukraine keeps the highest level the deposits’ reliablity (grade "5") from an independent credit agency "Credit Rating"; the rank’s last confirmation was held on July 2, 2011.
