OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2011. This year’s tenth exchange transaction with single European currency has been concluded today in the course of trading in the currency section of the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BBVB). It has become the first in September and record in volume in 2011.

BBVB reports that on 1 September  following the results of trading in the BBVB currency section a deal for 3 million  euro was concluded against 1 million euro on 26 August . Its rate totaled 1.1324 manats to the euro. The official exchange rate fixed by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for 1 September  2011 was AZN/EUR 1.13.

This year’s e first deal with euro was concluded at BBVB on 17 March. Its volume totaled 300,000 euro and rate 1.106 manats to the euro, while official exchange rate was AZN/EUR 1.1046.

As a result, BBVB euro turnover for 2011 still totals 14.11 million euro.
