OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2011. On the September 1 Ukrsotsbank changed officially its trade mark to “UniCredit Bank”. Bank will continue its activity on Ukrainian market under the “UniCredit Bank” trade mark herewith legal name of the Bank remains unchanged – PJSC “Ukrsotsbank”. Changing of the Bank’s trade mark is the strategic target of the UniCredit that is aimed to master brand strengthening on Ukrainian market.

 Changing of the Bank’s name in Social Medial virtual space - vkontakte.ru, facebook.com, odnoklassniki.com, where recently PJSC “Ukrsotsbank” has launched its official pages is logical step in the frames of rebranding process. By launching rebranding also in Social Medial Bank will manage to cover wide Internet users’ audience what in its turn will increase UniCredit brand awareness among youth.

 In the frames of rebranding process updating of the official Bank’s pages in Social Media will include not only changing of the organization’s title on “UniCredit Bank” but also the modernization of their design according to the new advertising concept of the UniCredit “Ups and Downs”.

 “Social Media is the strategic communication channel for the Bank that is why realization of rebranding in Social Media has become the important step. It is worth mentioning that technical features of Social Media have provided PJSC “Ukrsotsbank” with opportunity to perform rebranding to “UniCredit Bank” trade mark brightly and to present new advertising campaign “Ups and Downs” – marked Anna Slyusarenko, Head of Identity and communications Division of PJSC “Ukrsotsbank”.

 As it was noted earlier, changing of the trade mark of PJSC “Ukrsotsbank” to “UniCredit Bank” doesn’t entail the change of Bank’s legal name as well as all Bank’s requisites that’s why no amendments of agreements and terms are expected.
