OREANDA-NEWS. September 5, 2011. Yuliya Pylypenko joins METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine as the Human Resource Director effective as of September 1st, 2011.

Mrs. Pylypenko has over 15 years of experience in Human Resource Management. Having started her career within this field in 1996 as the Personnel Manager, Yuliya Pylypenko held various top management positions in HR with Ukrainian and international companies. In 2007 she moved to Moscow as the Vice-President People Central and Eastern Europe in AB InBev.

 Mrs. Pylypenko joined METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine from the position of the Vice-President HR & Organisational Development at VympelCom Group, Russia. On this position she was responsible for the Human Resource Management in 11 countries (Russia, CIS, South-Eastern Asia).

 Yuliya Pylypenko has profound experience in Human Resource Management, including Performance Management, Rewards and Talent Management. She graduated from Kyiv State Institute of Foreign Languages and holds Diplomas in Executive Leadership from INSEAD and Wharton, in HR Management by Leicester University and Certificate in HR Management by Grant MacEwan College.

 On her new position at METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine she is responsible for the company’s HR strategy with focus on the Talent Management, Personnel Development, Employee Value Proposition and Employer Branding.

 Mr. Mykhaylo Zavylov, who was previously responsible for Human Resource Management of the company, will continue his career in Operations department of METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine.
