OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2011. Truck production (including chassis-cabs and light trucks) in Russia rose 46.5% year on year to 126.3 thousand units in January-August 2011, according to provisional data of ASM Holding analysts. Out of the total production figure, domestic truck output was 111.7 thousand units (up 44.5%), and foreign-brand truck output was 14.6 thousand units (up 63.2%).

In August 2011, truck output was up 45.0% to 16.1 thousand units, of which 13.7 thousand vehicles were domestic models and 2.4 thousand were foreign-brand trucks.
