OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2011. The RTEC Inspector software and hardware suite developed to control integrity of operating systems and configuration files of RTEC equipment,has obtained a certificate from FSTEC (Russian Federal Technical and Export Control Service) to confirm full compliance to data security requirements.  According to the certificate, RTEC Inspector is to be used for the protection of data that do not contain government-level secrets. It dully conforms with the requirements as stipulated by the regulatory document "Protection against unauthorized access to information".  Part 1.  Data protection software.  Classification by the level of undeclared features control - Level Four.

RTEC Inspectorwas developed in 2010 by experts from “Gasinformservice” together with RTEC. It is a solution enhancing security and fault tolerance of network devices.  The main capabilities of RTEC Inspector are as follows:
 integrity control for software and configuration files installed in network hardware;
 scheduled and ad hoc control;
 restoration of configuration files;
 programmed reactions to breaches of configuration integrity.
