OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2011. In order to build on the agreements made earlier, a teleconference of the Russian-Swedish Business Council’s Co-Chairmen – Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and President of Ericsson Hans Westberg was held.

Vladimir Dmitriev informed the Swedish side of the foundation of the Russian part of the Russia-Swedish Business Council saying that the Russian business community was interested in promoting Russian-Swedish trade and economic cooperation.

In the course of the teleconference bridge the co-chairmen exchanged their opinions on the principles of cooperation between the Russian and Swedish parts of the business Council, outlined a program of joint actions to step up mutually beneficial business partnership between Russia and Sweden.

The Russian-Swedish Business Council is a nongovernmental public organization. The Council’s activity is to be undertaken on a pro bono basis uniting Russian and Swedish companies and institutions irrespective of ownership type. Vnesheconombank and Ericsson Concern respectively are to be responsible for coordinating activities of the Council’s Russian and Swedish parts and managing its executive bodies.
