OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2011. Today the Board of Directors of Stroytransgaz has held a meeting where chairman of the Management Board has been elected and BoD members have been appointed.

 Mr. Igor Valerivich Romashov has become Chairman of the Board of Directors.

 Igor Valerivich Romashov was born in 1963. He graduated from St. Petersburg State Transport University, worked as the Head of the Federal Agency for Railway Transport, Vice President of Rosneft OJSC. At present, Mr.  Romashov holds the office of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Transoil LLC. The new Stroytransgaz Management Board members are Sergey Igorevich Makarov (Chairman of the Management Board), Sergey Ivanovich Kruglik (First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board); Vasilyev Alexander Nikolaevich, Gorelov Anatoly Sergeevich, Kapnik Alexander Naumovich, Krylov Alexander Fyodorovich, Kusov Vsevolod Evgenievich, Rogovtsov Alexander Fyodorovich – Deputy Chairmen of the Management Board.

 Stroytransgaz business and financial performance for the first six months of 2011 and its strategic development were discussed at the meeting as well.

 The company’s net profit for the first six months of 2011 was 1.3 bn RUR, its revenue increased by 43% compared with the same period of the previous year and made 17.8 bn RUR. Stroytransgaz continues to diversify its activity while putting emphasis on the construction of power industry facilities. In the first half of 2011 the share of proceeds of this type of works reached 56%.

Today, the company’s assets include thermal generation facilities, high and extra high voltage transmission lines, and substations. Stroytransgaz has constructed and is now preparing for commissioning the “smartest” cogeneration plant in the country – Yugo-Zapadnaya cogeneration plant. The company has been constructing 600 km of extra high voltage transmission lines and over 7,000 MVA of transformer capacity as power distribution facilities of the Kalinin nuclear power plant. Some new projects are launched.

 Stroytransgaz Board of Directors has decided to keep on developing the electric power facilities construction as well as to extend its infrastructure construction activity, including the construction of water channels, roads and bridges. The company intends to maintain its proactive overseas policy in the gaining of new contracts both in traditional states and foreign markets.
