OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2011. Belarus’ output of all mineral fertilizers rose 1.6% on the year in January-July 2011 to 3.83 million tonnes, a representative of Belarus’ Statistics Committee told reporters.

The output of potash fertilizers increased 1.5% on the year in January-July to 3.246 million tonnes, of phosphate fertilizers went down 1.35% to 109,600 tonnes, and the production of nitrogen fertilizers went up 2.5% to 474,900 tonnes in the period.

Chemical fiber and filament production fell 0.8% to 130,500 tonnes.

Motorcar tire output rose 7.4% to 2.071 million units.

Combined output of Belarus’ chemical and petrochemical industry went up 1.3% on the year in January-July 2011 to 14.26 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) in monetary terms.

Inventories of chemical and petrochemical companies were at 46% of the average monthly output, or 831.9 billion rubles.
