OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2011. Nasosenergomash, a subsidiary of HMS Group, successfully carried out tests of new pumps of D12500-24M type produced according to the agreement between Group`s trading house – HYDROMASHSERVICE and Ministry of Management of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the agreement HYDROMASHSERVICE will carry out all the works associated with designing, shipment and installation of basic and electromechanical equipment. The agreement was concluded as a part of the project of reconstruction of floating pumping stations of Kuyu Mazar in Bukhara region. The project provides for the construction of a new stationery pumping station equipped with 12 pumping units with capacity increased up to 35 cubic meters per second.

Kuyu Mazar station was built in 1965 and is the second cascade among the Amu-Bukhara channel stations. The construction of new pumping station will improve the situation with guaranteed water transmission to the number of lands of Bukhara region with the total area of 100 thousand hectares.

HMS Group has a considerable experience in realization of such projects in Central Asia countries. For example, in 2066 the Group, with the assistance of Uzbek contractors, completed a turnkey construction project of pumping station Shur channel in Andizhan region. In 2011 HMS Group implemented a turnkey construction project of the source water-lifting pump station at the Yylgynagyz water channel in Lebap province of the Republic of Turkmenistan.
