Valentin Krylov, Academician, Head of the Central Research Institute named after Krylov told an international conference "Russian shipbuilding and shipping, ports operations, development of the shelf and the ocean, hosted in St. Petersburg, that the country’s demand for new fleet includes 260 sea-going cargo carriers and 175 service vessels.
