OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2011. Abacus International, Asia's leading revenue partner for airlines, and Transaero Airlines, Russia's second largest air carrier, announce today that they have signed a marketing agreement that will allow for further growth by Transaero across the region.

Under the document, Abacus and Transaero agree to work more closely together in order to increase volume of bookings on Transaero Airlines flights via the cost-effective Abacus system in expansion efforts within Central Asia, amplifying its marketing and sales reach through Abacus' extensive network. This will allow for the use of more revenue maximisation functionalities offered by Abacus and provide wider coverage for all its agents.

Having established a significant presence in Kazakhstan, Abacus is investing substantial amount of resources to deploy Abacus' award winning technologies and solutions in achieving a wider reach throughout Central Asia. Transaero, the largest carrier on routes between Russia and Kazakhstan, intends to generate additional sales in the region by implementing new distribution tools.

Based in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, Russia, Transaero currently operates flights to more than 130 domestic and international destinations. The carrier covers markets in Asia, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Thailand, India, Indonesia and Vietnam. Transaero has entered into a number of codeshare agreements to further expand its reach, while offering flight packages that are discounted, more efficient and more available.
