NEC Corporation (NEC) announced today that it will lead the debate on a range of new technologies at the Packet Microwave Forum on October 3-5 at Centre Point Tower in London. In its capacity as the Platinum Sponsor of the Forum, NEC will present a keynote speech, host a workshop and stage an Innovation presentation. The coordinated speaking and seminar program will focus on the critical role that new microwave backhaul technologies and solutions will play in the future of fixed line and mobile networks, with particular attention to the transition to 4G (LTE) networks and the evolving mobile cloud.

During the forum, NEC will lead the agenda with a keynote speech on Tuesday October 4, entitled - 'The new wave: applications, innovation and frequency spectrum for the growth of Microwave networks'. In addition, NEC is hosting a workshop focused on 'Managing Network TCO using next-generation Microwave for mobile and business applications'. The Innovation presentation will focus on future developments in 'End to end management of heterogeneous Microwave and Optical backhaul'.

NEC will also provide a demonstration of its complementary unified transport Network Management System MS5000, to showcase its network provisioning and performance monitoring capabilities.
