OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2011. On 19th September, 2011 a solemn ceremony of a new production line AWEMA opening has taken place on Ulyanovsk factory of "Orkla Brands Russia". Representatives of regional authorities, Head of "Orkla Brands Russia" and employees of the Ulyanovsk factory have taken part in the opening ceremony. Line startup was given in the solemn atmosphere by the CEO of "Orkla Brands Russia" Vadim Ter-Israelyan and the First Deputy Chairman of Ulyanovsk Government, Alexander Yakunin.

The project is the next stage of modernization of the Ulyanovsk factory production capacities.

"Start of a new hi-tech line allows us to increase production volumes, and also opens additional capabilities for creation of the unique innovative products corresponding to the highest requirements of our consumers. All these measures, certainly, will promote further prosperity of the company, and therefore general development of all the confectionery business in Ulyanovsk region".

"Orkla Brands Russia" invests considerable funds in modernization of its production capacities. Confirmation to that is the start of the third line AWEMA at the enterprises of the company and the second line at the Ulyanovsk factory. The first (AWEMA-1) has been established in August 2010; it successfully functions and makes consumers happy with such products as sweets Fluide, Kortua, chocolate with filling "SladCo". The volume of investments into installation and the further expansion of the first line АWЕМА was about 150 million rubles. This year about 248 million rubles has been invested in addition for the start of the next AWEMA (№ 3 or XXL) which capacity has increased by 30 % in comparison with its predecessor.
