OREANDA-NEWS. October 5, 2011. Russian Government has set aside up to RUB 114.52 billion for funding in 2012 the Federal target program “Development of transport system of the Russian Federation” (2010-2015). According to the draft federal budget to be submitted by the Finance Ministry to the State Duma, the amount exceeds as much as 1.6 times the federal government’s investment in the industry in 2011.

Funding the subprogram "Development of transport services exports" will be increased in 2012 by 5.1 percent to RUB 9.12 bn, in 2013 - up to RUB 11.69 bn, and in 2014 – will be cut to 11.3 billion.

Funding of the subprogram "Marine Transport" in 2012 is planned to be increased by 1.7 times from last year’s numbers, up to RUB 31.19 billion, in 2013 - to RUB 33.98 billion, and in 2014 - up to 34.68 billion rubles.

Next year, federal government will spend RUB 9.88 billion for encouragement of domestic shipping industry, 17.9 percent more than a year earlier. In 2013, the industry will get 8.92 billion rubles. In 2014, the investment will be decreased to 9.48 billion rubles.
