OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2011. Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO together with Sberbank held an educational programme for governors of Russian regions within the framework of Russian-Singapore business forum. The goal of the programme was studying of international expertise in the field of city-management and development of competences, that are important in the public sector.

Sixteen participants took part in this one-day programme. Among them were representatives of business sector, representatives of the Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine and governors of Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Tomsk, Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk and the Republic of Bashkortostan. The programme turned out to be very intensive. During one day the participants had a chance to meet with president of International Enterprise Singapore, Teo Eng Cheong, with director of one of departments of IDA Lark-Yang Tan and with RSP Architects Planners&Engineers Ltd Albert Hong.

This programme became a great chance for the governors to make new acquaintances with representatives of Singapore public sector. During this visit to Singapore the governors of Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod and Tomsk have reached some agreements with representatives of Singapore government for the future.

At the end of the programme the participants had a dinner with Minister of state and national development.
