OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2011. Freight One hauled more than 4000 metric tons of oil from Irkutsk region to Osetrovo River Port in the city of Ust-Kut (Irkutsk region) and adjacent railway stations from June to August.

Freight One made all the deliveries to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and northern Irkutsk region, the consignee being Verkhnelenskoye River Shipping Company, under a program called Northern Delivery.

This figure includes more than 1500 tons of diesel fuel, 1100 tons of kerosene and 1200 tons of gasoline that the company hauled during the summer season from stations of the East-Siberian Railway to Lena and Lena East stations. The company hauled more than 1300 tons of diesel fuel for the public and private sectors in remote northern areas during the first 15 days of September.

According to the government of Irkutsk region, the Northern Delivery program in the Siberian region must be completed in October. Freight One offers favorable rates on domestic haulage of diesel fuel and gasoline which are respectively 6% and 5% lower than the total cost of using state-owned cars for the same purpose.
