OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2011. "Transaero" airline operated its first flight from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Madrid (Barajas).

Transaero will be operating flights to the Barajas International Airport twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, on a modern B-737 airliner. The aircraft, which is taken into long-term operating lease, is particularly comfortable. Its total capacity is 158 seats. The entire interior of the aircraft’s cabin is made in accordance with the most modern technology Boeing Sky Interior.

The first flight of Transaero to the Spanish capital was demanded by passengers. It was carried out with almost full load. In addition to Transaero, regular flights from Domodedovo Airport to Madrid are being carried out by S7 Airlines and Iberia.

Due to the launch of the new flight, air travelers will have more opportunities for direct flights to Spain and for convenient transfer connections with other Russian and foreign flights at Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
