OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2011. Epson Company’s seminar for dealers and sales personnel was held at the Grand Hotel Europe in Baku. At the seminar renewed range of inkjet and laser printers, multifunctional devices (MFD) and projectors was presented along with the first photo printer with an integrated ink tank system named “Print Factory Epson” L800. Seminar was held under support of the exclusive distributor of Epson in Azerbaijan – AZEL (Azerbaijan Electronics).

Opening the seminar Sergei Glebov, head of Epson representative office in Middle Asia and Caucasus briefly informed about company’s history and noted that, “Seiko Epson Corporation is a structural division of the Japanese diversified concern Seiko. Head office of the company located in Japan but Epson has a lot of representative offices all over the word. Epson is one of the biggest manufacturers of matrix, laser and ink jet printers, MFD, projectors and scanners.

Since 2006 Epson provide active work in Azerbaijan and consider Caucasus one of strategically important markets”.

Then, an innovative model of “Print Factory Epson” with low cost of printing was presented. Epson L800 - six-color photo printer with built-in high capacity ink tank system. Printer was designed for economical printing photos up to A4 size as well as for printing directly onto the printable surface of CDs/DVDs in photo salons, photo labs, and advertisement offices. Compact photo printer Epson L800 allows you to print high quality photos at the record-low cost - 4 qapik per image 10x15 (not considering paper).

Feature of all “Factory printing Epson” devices - is printing without cartridges. For the first time, Epson presented photo printer with built-in ink tank system. Original Epson inks are placed in

70 ml bottles. The original design of containers and special locking system of the ink tanks ensure safe transportation of the device, eliminating the possibility of ink’s leakage. In the nearest future “Print Factory” will be supplied to Azerbaijan market and will be available in the shops of the city.

After that, manager on business equipment and projectors Eugenie Djaksimov informed about innovative 3LCD technology and presented renewed models of projectors, laser and ink-jet printers and MFD.

At the end of the meeting a quiz for participants was arranged. The most actively and correctly responding to questions participants received T-shirts from Epson. Also, seminar’s participants could try a Print Factory Epson and print photos that have been made during a seminar.
