OREANDA-NEWS. November 3, 2011. According to Cbonds Agency, Sviaz-Bank was among the highest-ranked investment banks at the end of the nine-month period of 2011 as a managing underwriter and underwriter of bond issues.

Sviaz-Bank placed fifth among managing underwriters of bonds issued in the corporate sector, with a total managing underwriter quota of 34.5 billion rubles.

The Bank was fourth among leading underwriters of bonds issued on the domestic market and underwriters in the corporate sector, with a total underwriter quota of 38.8 billion rubles.

Sviaz-Bank has been ranked sixth for bond issues, including those offered for the market, with 34.5 billion rubles and 29.5 billion rubles in quotas, respectively.

As a result, the Bank improved its standing in the Cbonds rankings over the same nine-month period of 2010.

In early 2011, Sviaz-Bank was involved in managing and distributing bonds issued by Vnesheconombank, Globexbank, FSUE Post of Russia, and business companies, including Acron, Mechel, MMK, EurasHolding-Finance, Kuzbassenergo-Finance, KOKS, and TransFin?M, among others.

Cbonds Agency’s rankings of managing underwriters and underwriters give points to investment banks active in the primary bond market in terms of value of bonds and the number of issues floated, but only issues intended for offering to a large community of investors.
