The volume of premiums for voluntary insurance other than life insurance amounted to 936 mln. rubles (a 2% decrease), including charges for property insurance – 801 mln. rubles (a 1% increase), liability insurance – 37 mln. rubles (a 58% increase). compulsory motor third party liability insurance (OSAGO) premiums totaled 328 mln. rubles (a 57% increase).

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company direct insurance payments in St. Petersburg amounted to 1,009 mln. rubles for the 9-month period 2011, including voluntary personal insurance – 70 mln. rubles, property insurance – 706 mln. rubles, voluntary liability insurance – 31 mln. rubles. OSAGO payments amounted to 201 mln. rubles.
