According to Platts' calculations, RusHydro demonstrated a compound annual growth rate of revenue of 106.1% for the last 3 years, which is the best figure for the Russian energy sector. The significant progress of the Russian energy companies in Platts Top-50 is primarily associated with the government's decision to privatize and reform the Russian electric utilities sector, noted the agency.

Apart from RusHydro, Bashneft and MOESK also were among the first 10 fastest growing companies.
