In a bid to make the system of bill viewing and payment consumer friendly, for the first time in India, Reliance Infrastructure Limited, power distributor in Mumbai Suburbs and surrounding areas, has launched its new hassle free, user friendly customer care initiatives. The initiative would enable consumers to have a Mobile View & Pay bill facility, where consumers can access all their power related information and pay their bills through mobile phone.

With this, RInfra's 27 lakh consumers now can have all the power related information on their finger tips, giving them the freedom to access and pay their bills while on move.

It's for the first time that such consumer empowerment initiatives are being launched by any power utility company in India, where consumers have every details pertaining to their power accounts, like power consumption history, payment history; meter reading details, status of their registered complaints, nearest payment facility, etc.

To avail the facility on their mobiles, consumers will have to follow three easy steps on their mobile phones to access the power information and make the payment:

Known for implementing consumer friendly technologies in power distribution, the latest Mobile View & Payment facility launched by RInfra will give consumers freedom to view and pay electricity bills from anywhere in the world.

With the advent of 3G services, accessing the RInfra site on mobile would be even faster as compared to the computer.

RInfra is the largest power distribution company in Mumbai with the licensed distribution area spread over 400 Sq. Kms. in suburbs and surrounding areas of Mumbai. It is supplying power to around 2.7 millions consumers. Company has been recently mandated to distribute electricity for next 25 years, i.e., till 14th August 2036.
