OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2011. Belarus’ brewer’s malt production rose 77% on the year in January-September 2011 to 104,900 tonnes, according to the National Statistical Committee.

In September, malt production totaled 11,400 tonnes, up 2.7% on the year.

Output by OJSC Belsolod, the largest malt producer, amounted to 99,413 tonnes, dn 21.4% on the year.

As of October 1, 2011, malt inventories were at 2,600 tonnes, 25.6% of the average monthly output, up 73.9% from the level of September 1, 2010.
