OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2011. This October prices at the secondary housing market of Baku fell by 0.1% - from USD 966/sq m to USD 965/sq m.

Public Organization "Property Market Participants" reports that the most significant decline of 1.1% in prices occurred in Surakhani district of Baku this October.

The share of apartments offered for the market below the average price (USD 965/sq m) made up 52.3% of the total portfolio of the secondary housing market.

Last month, the average room number indicator in this market segment was 2.78, the average price of a room - USD 43,530, and an apartment - USD 111,038.

This October’s market supply grew by 0.8%. The market was offered totally 7,300 apartments. A large part (78.8% of the portfolio) consists of flats in the Yasamal, Nasimi, Narimanov and Khatai districts of Baku that is linked with transition of housing in these districts from the primary to the secondary market.
