OREANDA-NEWS. December 7, 2011. OJSC New Forwarding Company and other Globaltrans Group companies, within the Program “Charity instead of Souvenirs” made a donation to the “Life Line” charity fund for severely ill children.

The “Life Line” program was founded on June 1st, 2004 based on the successful experience of international healthcare and charity organizations. In 2008 the program became a fund.

The target of the “Life Line” charity fund is to reduce the children’s death rate due to severe illnesses that can be cured with today’s level of the medical science.

The fund is developing with the help of Russian companies and common people. The fund finances medical treatment for children throughout the country. As of today, the “Life Line” charity fund has saved over 4.5 thousand children in Russia. The total funds collected for surgeries exceed USD 24 mln USD. All money donated to the “Life Line” are used exclusively for children’s treatment.
